the end of another nice joseon drama. i enjoyed almost every bit of this, especially the politics…just that the romance seemed forced and there was no real chemistry between the ml and fl. maybe it could have been better if they gave more time for it to play out more naturally.
e.g. i was expecting the fl to spend more time with the ml away from all the politics where she could be more in her feminine self (dressed as the lady she is), so they could express themselves more freely.
it felt rushed but i was expecting answers to these: will the king choose to announce mongwoo to be a woman and try to make her his queen? how will he justify her disguise and get the people to accept her as the queen?
overall, it was a good drama and i’d def recommend.
